Authorities have released the name of a man who was shot and killed during an attempted robbery at an east Las Vegas business, as investigators continue their search for three suspects connected to the case.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, three men entered a second-floor business suite with the intention of carrying out a robbery. During the incident, an employee was struck by gunfire. The victim, whose identity was confirmed by the Clark County coroner's office, died from his injuries.

Police say the three suspects fled the scene after the shooting and remain outstanding. Detectives have not released detailed descriptions of the individuals, and it is unclear whether the suspects and the victim knew one another before the encounter.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the incident or the whereabouts of the suspects is urged to contact local authorities or submit an anonymous tip through crime tip channels.

The killing adds to concerns about violent crime at commercial properties in the east valley, where business owners have called for increased patrols and security measures in recent months.
