NWA Women in Business: Amanda Tolley-Holloway

Amanda Tolley-Holloway calls Bentonville home, but her professional roots run deep through the University of Arkansas. She earned a B.S.B.A. in business management from the Sam M. Walton College of Business in 2004, a foundation that has served her well in the competitive world of food manufacturing.

Today, Tolley-Holloway works within Tyson Foods' Prepared Foods business. In this role, she navigates the complexities of a massive supply chain, focusing on operational efficiency and product innovation. Her path to this leadership position was not a straight line. She credits early mentors for teaching her that resilience and adaptability matter more than a perfect resume. "You have to be willing to take on the hard projects," she has said, "the ones nobody else wants, because that is where you learn the most."

Beyond her daily duties, Tolley-Holloway is an advocate for professional development. She encourages young women entering the field to build strong networks and to not shy away from asking for feedback. She believes that true growth comes from a mix of technical skill and emotional intelligence, especially in a fast-paced industry like food production. Her story reflects a commitment to continuous learning, both for herself and for the teams she leads.
