The University of Louisville has announced the appointment of Amy Henley as the new dean of its College of Business, effective July 15. Henley comes from the University of North Dakota, where she has served as dean and professor of management at the Nistler College of Business & Public Administration since 2018.
With a diverse background in academia and industry, Henley has previously held the position of executive director of MBA programs and associate professor at Kennesaw State University’s Coles College of Business. Her teaching experience spans multiple institutions, including the University of Southern Mississippi and the University of Texas at Arlington.
Before her academic career, Henley gained valuable experience in transportation logistics and financial analysis in Dallas. Her extensive leadership experience and commitment to fostering relationships with alumni, as well as her support for academic research, make her a strong choice to lead the College of Business. The university community looks forward to her contributions in strengthening ties with the business, government, and nonprofit sectors.
